A: 20 years from the date of filing the application in China, subject to the payment of annual fees, no extension.
Q: How long can you get patent right after application?
A: First you can get a notification of acceptance the application; you can get patent right if it accords with the requests of novelty, inventiveness and practical applicability after preliminary inspection and substantive examination. This progress does not have a legal time limit. Generally two or four years.
